The "2025-2026 Zhejiang TV New Year's Eve Gala" is a global live broadcast gala held by Zhejiang TV on December 31, 2025 at 7:30 PM at the Quzhou Sports Center. Hosted by Hua Shao, Yi Yi, Shen Tao, Chen Huan, and He Chuan, the gala will be broadcast live in 4K ultra-high definition via Zhejiang TV and the Z-Vision app. The gala officially announced its schedule and released a concept poster on December 8, 2025, with the theme "6 Things to Do." It combines Quzhou's natural landscape with holographic projection technology to create a 360-degree panoramic stage, employing 4K HDR ultra-high definition live streaming and naked-eye 3D technology to enhance the visual experience.
The program features a "team competition" format, divided into five chapters: First Bloom, Gathering, Dawn, Unity, and Flourishing Chapter. It is the first of its kind to feature five teams of guests performing in rotation. The gala featured regular cast members from the popular variety shows "Running Man" (Li Chen and Zheng Kai) and "Ace vs Ace" (Guan Xiaotong) performing together. It also included a performance of "The Monkey King vs. the White Bone Demon" by the Zhejiang Wuju Opera Troupe, blending traditional opera with modern technology. Interactive activities included real-time voting via the Z-Vision App, a postcard collection event to win a star-studded album, and live footage of the stage being displayed on a city-wide screen.
Young singer Luo Qi performed "Embrace Each Other" at midnight as a climactic moment. The gala incorporated elements from popular Chinese IPs such as "Black Myth: Wukong" and "White Snake: Floating Life," creating an immersive audio-visual experience through a dynamic lighting matrix and a multi-layered rising stage. The stage design was handled by the Hangzhou Asian Games team.
